This year, Jacob Hino Wodonga have won several accolades, including being distinguished as the number one dealership for light duty trucks in our area,
achieving 100 percent units in operation service retention, the gold parts excellence award for regional Australia, and distinctions in the 2014 national Hino sales contest for both parts and service.
“This distinguishes us as the best of the best” says Jacob Hinos’ after sales manager Shane Fifield. “This is the first time that we at Jacob Hino have competed in both service and parts, and our customers can be confi dent that they are buying from the best quality team, with the best in sales, servicing and parts.”
The Hino Service and Parts competition is run every year, and in order to contend candidates must take part in four exams during the year, in both practical and theory trials. The candidates are then whittled down to the top eight finalists in Australia. This year, Luke Akehurst of Jacob Hino Wodonga has taken out third prize in parts out of 45 contestants, and Nick Lions has brought home second prize for service out of a staggering 55 contestants.
Mr Fifield says “Our aim next year is to bring home Dealer of the Year in April 2015. We’ve achieved some fantastic things this year, and next year we are aiming higher.”
Dealer of the Year is based on service and sales, customer feedback, presentation of the dealership, performance, past awards and continued staff training. “Every one of our 10 staff has attended multiple training programs this year, which not only means that we are a competitive dealership, but that we are at the cutting edge of product quality, service and sales, exceeding customer expectations.”
