Every Hino 300 Series comes equipped with Hino SmartSafe, a comprehensive safety package† featuring advanced driver-assist technology including Pre-Collision System, Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning System and more. Pre-Collision System
If PCS detects the possibility of a collision with a vehicle in front, using radar and image sensors, it will warn you to apply the brakes. If you don’t respond, the truck can brake autonomously.
Pedestrian Detection
If PCS detects a pedestrian in front and senses the possibility of a collision it will warn you. If you don’t respond, the truck can brake autonomously.
Lane Departure Warning System
The LDWS uses the PCS camera, and can provide the driver with both audible and visual cues if the truck is deviating from its lane without the turn indicators being engaged by the driver.

MULTIMEDIA UNIT
10.1" ultra high-definition, capacitive touch screen is capable of connecting up to 6 multi-position cameras and supports AM/FM / DAB+ radio, and Wi-Fi. Includes the latest version of Bluetooth connectivity enhancing call handling, profile pictures and improved speech to text functionality. The intuitive Multimedia Unit has been designed to integrate into the dash, with a particular focus on driver and vehicle ergonomics.
DRIVER INSTRUMENT PANEL
4.2” TFT LCD Multi Information Display with an enlarged and centralised speedometer, an offset tachometer, a suite of warning gauges and lights to improve readability.
CRUISE CONTROL
Automatically controls the road speed of the vehicle as set by the driver, which reduces fatigue and can improve overall fuel efficiency.

With proven driveline combinations and equipped with a 4-litre common-rail turbo diesel engine, the Hino 300 Series delivers the ideal balance of performance and driveability. Hino remains the only Japanese truck manufacturer to offer a true automatic transmission across the 4x2 model range, providing smooth, car-like drivability with no compromise on power.
Engine
The engine line-up starts with the N04C, producing up to 150hp and 420Nm and continues all the way to the J05E found in the 721 and 921 models, producing up to 205hp and 600Nm.
Automatic Transmission
True automatic transmissions are available across the range, offering no torque interruptions between gear shifts, smooth driveability and lower whole of life costs.
Sequential Shifter
Now equipped with a sequential shifter for enhanced control in all conditions, helping improve performance and minimise driver error.
Hybrid Electric Driveline
Engine
Powered by the N04C four cylinder engine and the electric motor, the hybrid driveline delivers a combined 150hp and 470Nm of torque from a very low 1200RPM.
Emissions Standards
Meeting Euro 6 emissions standards through the exhaust gas after-treatment unit which contains a Diesel Particulate Reduction system and Selective Catalytic Reduction system.
Automated Transmission
The six-speed automated transmission is coupled directly to the electric motor, which assists with quicker and smoother gear shifts.
